Cleanup: Vol I, The Hectic Collection Visit the page on Brick Cave Media Here
Apparently, my first e-book collection of poetry is fairly interesting to people to look at- it is currently the second in the BCM book section in regards to views, yeah for me.
This is a collection of a few poems from the early 1990's, and a couple from earlier. "Cleanup" is my way of identifying them as a series, there will likely be some more once I have the tiem to sift through them and compile the sets.
"Hectic" just means that there is no overriding theme to the collection, fiture collections may have verious themes to them.
The poems include:
Capitalism (And the Little Tin Heart) this was a free thought write with a friend, Clifford Deere, in 1988 (or so). There were a series of these and we just spend a late night letting words flow back and forth.
Moonlight Serenade A love poem, from around the time I discovered sedona after moving to Arizona.
River Water A Poem about... thought? freedom? poetry?
Spinning
The Toys This was an early poem, about how the toys of our youth change in our eyes over time.
Moonlight-Deepest Duet More love. Love, Love love...
GX/Hard to Find/Metamorphosis This is actually three micro poems that seem awkward apart, but taste great together.
Java Road Girl About a girl, at Java Road- a coffeehouse that no longer exists.
