Steampunk weapon #2
So, to be fair to the other weapon I’ve been working on, here it is in it’s half finished state. Some paint, finishing touches, and accessories, and we have another tremendous weapon of steampunkery…
Steampunk Gun #3
So, for those of you that know, I have not been a huge fan of Steampunk, not a huge wild west fan, but I am a huge fan of the Victorian era, so I have slowly come around. 2010, I made a Steampunk rifle for Tavara Tinker (AKA Sharon Skinner) for a costume she wore at an event in Downtown Mesa. That rifle eventually sold, much to my suprise.
So now, for the Phoenix Comicon 2011, TT is working on some additional costumes for a fashion show there, and she has commissioned yours truly to create a couple more weapons for her characters.
The above will be a pistol (a pretty heavy one, too) when completed, and will have some additional suprises. Officially known as “Uncle Boboratory’s Steampunk Weapon #3″, it will following the comicon, be available exclusively for sale at Evermore Nevermore in Mesa, AZ.
“Uncle Boboratory’s Steampunk Weapon #2″, a rifle, will also be for sale at Evermore following the comicon. It’s not quite far enough along to share pictures yet, but it is close.
Weapons #’s 4, 5 and 6 are all in concept stages right now, as we went and collected materials this weekend, and I figure this summer I’ll get them done.
